CAHEC recently received the CPR & First Aid Anywhere kit from our friends at the American Heart Association. It is designed to meet the group training needs of workplaces, community organizations, and schools to train 10 to 20 people at once in the lifesaving skills of CPR and first aid. Our goal is to increase the number of individuals trained in CPR.
This is not a certification. Good Samaritan laws in CO protect individuals acting in good faith even without a certification. This training will give you the knowledge you need to respond in an emergency situation.
American Heart Association have additional funds available for schools or community centers to get an AED at your site and create a Cardiac Emergency Response Plan (CERP). To learn more contact Rebecca.Silva@heart.org
