The Centennial Area Health Education Center supports local healthcare providers in many different ways to address and combat workforce shortages in our rural Northeastern Region of Colorado.

 

To support health professionals in rural and frontier regions as they train the next generation of healthcare professionals, CAHEC worked with state leaders to pass the Preceptor Bill that offers tax credits for preceptors.

Our two Regional Health Connectors, connect and develop resources within each region as they work with various coalitions to improve coordination of care.​

Our new Compassionate Care Dementia Training educates healthcare students and professionals on how to successfully interact with and provide appropriate care for the influx of dementia patients they will encounter in their careers..
