Host a Medical Student

BECOME A HOST HOME!

 

You simply need to have a spare room with a lockable door, a bed in the bedroom, and a bathroom (shared or private space).

 

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

  • You will help students reach their academic goals

  • Introduce students to a rural setting and a your community

  • You will be compensated with a per diem stipend per night for the duration of the student's stay

"As a host for several years, we enjoy welcoming new students into our home and helping them explore the nearby Fort Collins/Northern Colorado area. We enjoy learning about the diverse life experiences of the students including Physician Assistants, Dental Students, nurses, and more. Everyone has been very helpful and respectful, and coordination through the CAHEC program administrators is very easy. We look forward to meeting more students next year!"​
