TESTIMONIALS
Although mental health support is a huge need for rural Colorado, resource deficits and access challenges often make it difficult to even begin the conversation. The Be Mindful, It Matters exhibit has had a profound impact on the students, staff, and faculty of the rural community colleges hosting it, as well as local town residents external to the campuses themselves. This exhibit is interactive, relevant, inclusive, comprehensive, and thoughtful. It is helping us start hard conversations. It is helping us support our rural Colorado communities. Thank you, CAHEC!
-Sarah Droege, Colorado Community College System Rural Mental Healthcare Lead
The BeMindful exhibit acted as a catalyst for conversations surrounding mental health from a variety of perspectives. It also shined a light that mental health does not discriminate, and helped start conversations about how to reduce stigma surrounding mental health, and how we talk about it in our community.
-Kathryn Bowker, Aims Community College Counselor
The exhibit was really well received by our community. I enjoyed seeing individuals and families go through and have good conversations about the topics it presented. Multiple people let staff know how much they appreciated having the exhibit here at Erie.
- Ian Holmes, Erie Library Director

Help us reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and help people find mental health resources for themselves or their loved ones by providing this resource to libraries, hospitals, community events, colleges and universities.
