TWENTY-FIFTH ANNUAL CENTENNIAL NURSING
&
NIGHTINGALE REGION NURSING AWARDS

The twenty-fifth annual Centennial Nursing and Nightingale Region Nursing Awards event was held March 12, 2010 at the Embassy Suites Conference Center in Loveland, Colorado. The goal of the program, sponsored by Centennial Area Health Education Center (CAHEC) in Greeley, was to promote the general image of nurses by recognizing excellence in human caring by outstanding nurses in the region. Thirty-two area registered nurses and three licensed practical nurses (LPNs) were nominated for awards by their peers, administrators, patients, family and friends. A committee composed of nursing leaders from across the region then reviewed nominations. This distinguished group selected nine awardees.
