Community Health Programs

With the cooperation of many public and private agencies, health care institutions and schools, CAHEC directs a number of community-based programs focused on improving the health of residents throughout its region. Not only do these programs provide a direct benefit to individuals of all ages but they also expose younger people to the long term value and opportunities open to them by choosing one of many careers that will enable them to contribute to the health of their neighbors.

These programs originate by communities approaching CAHEC with their needs, and/or CAHEC seeing a need to fulfill in their region. The majority of programs are funded through private grants CAHEC seeks out.
