Funding for CAHEC programs is provided by
grants, contracts and fee-for-service agreements. CAHEC
regularly applies for federal, state and private grants
to undertake new programs or continue current ones. It is
also approached by public and private organizations that
will provide funding to CAHEC to implement programs they
have developed on their own. While CAHEC mainly focuses
on its 10-county region, some of the programs it undertakes
are also implemented in collaboration with the four other
Colorado AHEC centers within their respective regions.
